Hawthorne School
Learning Years Day School at Hawthorn Farm welcomes your inquiry into our excellent day school program for children 6 weeks to 10 years of age. Our Hawthorn Farm School is located in the Hawthorn Farm Industrial Park where many of our families work and live nearby. Our school is filled with very talented and dedicated teachers who work hard to provide your child with a safe and nurturing environment. Sandi Bailey, the Director of the center, is celebrating her 25th year at Learning Years in 2001! Tina McDaniel and her husband, Joe, own and operate the Hawthorn Farm School. Tina is a 1988 Graduate of Portland State University and has been a full-time staff member since 1983. Together, Sandi & Tina strive for a daily goal of excellence in early childhood education, a clean school, a friendly staff, and a safe and loving environment for children. Our philosophy is simple, but so important, and serves as a fundamental basis of our program. Although we offer a fantastic and age-appropriate preschool program and many extra programs to enrich and satisfy the children's natural curiosity, we feel that the stability of the staff and the loving environment that they experience far outweighs any other aspect of our program. When you enroll your child at Learning Years, we hope to become not just your "child care" provider, but also a part of your extended family! Come in for a tour at any time. We would love to show you around!

Your child deserves the best!
